Antonio Marcantonio's ice cream brought a taste of Italian sunshine to the streets of Newcastle over 100 years ago. Now, Mark Toney coffee shops and ice cream parlours are a tradition in Newcastle, with most Geordies having fond memories of childhood Knickerbocker Glories, and later on, meeting special friends there! Proudly into our fourth generation as a family business, we continue to make wholesome, delicious ice creams (over 40 flavours!) and our business is still based on the old fashioned traditions of giving good quality and value for money. Our award-winning luxury ice creams and sorbets are hand made using only the finest natural ingredients, with the quality that only years of experience can bring. They can be found not only in our own Newcastle cafes but in many top local restaurants, and good food shops including Fenwicks Food Hall. |

Wilkins fine dining is owned by husband and wife team Neil and Mary Wilkins, who have prepared food for the likes of Sir Michael Caine and Jean-Christophe Novelli. In the past they have worked at well known restaurants in London, France and the USA. The pair moved to London when they were just 17 and worked in swanky restaurants like The Savoy and The Ritz and now they’re married with two children. On returning to the dramatic landscape of North-East England after 12 years spent in many of the world's finest kitchens they decided to use the craft they had learned and the experience they had gained to start a different kind of catering company. Using local suppliers and only the finest ingredients, they offer canapés, lunches, suppers, dinners, informal buffets and even white weddings. Wilkins Fine Dining provides individually styled catering, prepared, cooked and presented to the highest of standards. Their experiences at The Ritz, The Savoy, The Canteen, J.C Novelli W8 and many more, have taught them the importance of quality, detail and commitment. Now they’ve combined their craft, experience and passion to offer you excellence, creativity and flair in both food and service. |
